If you receive a suspicious communication from someone claiming to represent MillTech, please report it to abuse@milltech.com.

How can I recognise a MillTech impersonation scam?

A communication claiming to be from MillTech is not genuine if it:

  • Contacts you as a private individual rather than on behalf of a business.

  • Offers you an investment or trading opportunity.

  • Asks you to transfer money from your personal account.

  • Comes from an email address that is not @milltech.com

What should I do if someone claiming to be MillTech contacts me?

If you believe someone is impersonating MillTech:

  • Do not reply.

  • Do not click any links or open attachments.

  • Do not share personal or financial information.

  • Do not transfer any money.

  • Report the incident to abuse@milltech.com and Report Fraud or the relevant fraud authority in your country.

What should I do if I’ve already paid or shared information?

If you have already transferred money or shared personal information, act as quickly as possible.

  • Contact your bank immediately.

  • If you are in the UK, report the incident to Report Fraud at reportfraud.police.uk or by calling 0300 123 2040. If you are outside the UK, contact the relevant national fraud authority.

  • Change any passwords or login credentials you may have disclosed.

  • Let us know at abuse@milltech.com so we can investigate and help prevent further impersonation attempts.

Yes, MillTech is a legitimate FX and cash management platform, authorised and regulated by the FCA (FRN 911636), serving businesses such as institutional fund managers and corporate treasurers – not individual members of the public. Any unsolicited contact offering you an investment or financial opportunity in the MillTech name should be treated as fraudulent.

How can I verify a MillTech website or email?

What are the common signs of an impersonation scam?

Be suspicious of any communication that:

  • Pressures you to act immediately or create a false sense of urgency.
  • Asks for your password, PIN or one-time passcode.
  • Asks you to move money to a "safe" or "secure" account.
  • Directs you to open an account or transfer money through an unsolicited link.
